Let your Nyon take the lead!

Plan your route and reach your destination in confidence.
We'll guide you through the steps for using your Nyon as a personal tour guide.

Step 1

Turn on your Nyon and mount it on your eBike.
Select the map screen by swiping left or right on the Nyon screen.

Step 1

If there is no GPS signal available, the most recent known location will be displayed.
An available GPS signal is indicated by a blue (instead of grey) dot.

Step 1

For more details you can zoom in on the map, move it with two fingers and select a destination by holding your finger down on a point on the map.

Step 2

To enter a destination, press the magnifying glass symbol in the upper left corner.

Step 2

The home or work addresses saved in advance in the portal or app, as well as locations and planned routes, are displayed here.
POIs (Points Of Interest) can also be selected from a list. You can use the search bar to enter an address or the name of a location, or search for a specific category, such as charging stations.

Step 2

Use the keyboard display to enter the name of the street you want, the property number (if applicable) and city.
You can then select your destination from the list.

Step 3

Now you can start the route by pressing 'Start' or 'Plan'.
If you select 'Start', the fastest route will start.

Step 3

If you select 'Plan', you can make further settings for your route.

Step 4

To make more settings for your route, click on the wheel symbol in the bottom left-hand corner.

Step 4

Here you can select your route profile.
You can choose between 'MTB' (mountain bike), 'Scenic' and 'Fast'.

Step 4

You can switch to the 'Elevation Profile' view by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.

Step 4

The battery and the coloured bar show you with which battery level you can expect to reach your destination.
For more information about the range, take a look at the 'Topo Range and Range Information' tutorial.

Step 4

Now press the route arrow on the bottom right to start navigation.

Step 5

Press the double arrow for more setting options:  Switch between 2D/3D mode, cancel navigation or get range information.

Step 5

The colour of the battery symbol at the bottom of the screen tells you your range. The range information depends on your selected riding mode and current battery level, so this information is already available when you plan your trip. If you are not currently in an active navigation, you can start the Topo Range feature by selecting the battery icon.

Note:

During active navigation, you can switch screens using the arrow keys on the remote. Turn instructions are displayed accordingly. These can be activated and deactivated in the settings.
